I wanted to get racing tack for my thoroughbreds but searching on the net was leading me no where...and the only tack they had was the breyer stuff..
But I wanted something that looked like it was in 'training' (thus the reason for the sweat cloth saddle pad) So I decided "stuff it im making my own" and Ta DA.
It took around 3 hours and was made from leather scraps...shoelaces for the girth to make it look like elastic and some stirrups stolen from an old toy saddle!
I would like to thank
for the metal clips, rings and such that held this thing together. And also for making the brown bridle!
I might make another set for my other thoroughbred!

I find my nightmares to be very entertaining, sometimes I even subconsciously bring popcorn!

And where do you find those rings with the bubble thing on them or do you make it??
Keep an eye out because I bought a whole lot of stuff like wood, fake flowers and boxed because im going to either make a show jump or a fence for western trails...

you can make them really easily!
just buy some "jump rings" and some small silver beads. probably $2.00 each a packet. you can get them from cheap stores like dollar save.
just open the jump ring up, slip a silver bead on and close them jump ring. LOL it took forever for it to come to me, before that i just used jump rings as bits and they dont look as nice. jewelry making supplies and skills come in hand for model horse tack.
the clips are made out of either "head pins" or "eye pins". pick them up for the same price at the same place as jump rings. i used jewelry pliers to bend them into shape.
each packet would probably make you about 50- 100 of each item! depends on how many findings are in the packets...
well thats the only tips and tricks i can reveal without having to kill any one.... i have already said too much.
But seriously its easy.

I bought some wood and some imitation grass and trees...so im planning on making a SM trail bridge...
And also to make a gate for Western trail a well....
Lol you should come to Dubbo even if its just for a laugh...I got plenty of room just have to pay for the room and such.
